Jonathon Bowker

“The convenience of the ActivePipe monthly newsletter service, along with the relevant finance specific content, provides great value to our business and ensures a regular touch to our client base with minimal effort.”

“Possibly the most beneficial feature of the platform is that it provides us with the analytics to monitor who in our database has shown interest and maybe an opportunity for a conversation. We highly recommend ActivePipe to anyone in the SFG network”

Matt Punter

“We’re really pleased with the progress we’re making with our database nurturing and business development program to our existing client base and greater contact database.”

“The only tool we’re currently using for this exercise is Activepipe. We’re delighted that not only are we overperforming (by some 250%+) on the key metrics measured (open rate and interaction rate) for this type of communication, but more importantly, we’re also writing and settling more loans as a result and building a really strong pipeline of prospective deals. We believe this is simply due the ease of and the increase in frequency of us communicating with our list.”

“We expect to settle record volumes right through to xmas based on today’s pipeline, WIP and improved conversion rates as a result of this approach to business development. I’ve included some stats below to support our performance.”

“A big thanks to the Finsure team and Paul Smith and his team at Activepipe for being so responsive which is greatly assisting us to meet our revenue and growth targets for all businesses within our group.”

Zarko Jokic

Having the capability to deliver a relevant message to your database is paramount. This is where ActivePipe excels.

The one weakness I always felt existed was my lack of regular contact with my client base, but over the past year this has changed dramatically with the support of the team at ActivePipe, in particular with their personalised newsletters. This could not of come at a more important time with the impact of COVID-19 and the assistance I have been able to provide my client base during these challenging times, being proactive rather than reactive has proved invaluable.

Is there an instructional video for how to include the Request An Inspection button in email campaigns ?

Is there a way to send an email directly from ActivePipe to a seller that lives on a particular street? – can ActivePipe read that data?

  • Yes, there is a number of ways to send to a contact with a particular street address – so long as the address data exists within your CRM.
  • You could then use Quick Send and select that contact directly, or if you want to send to multiple contacts who live on that particular street you can create an audience with the street as a field. Building Emails & Campaigns for Your Office

In this webinar we’ll be combining the key aspects of both our email building & campaign building masterclass’.

We’ll walk you through creating an example email sequence, building the corresponding campaign and how to send it out on behalf of your agents!

How To Build Effective Campaigns

Building great emails is essential to driving engagement, however a great email is nothing without the campaign attached to it.

Whilst we pride ourselves on setting you up with industry leading campaigns from the get-go, we want to empower you as much as possible to create your own campaigns based on your business’s needs.

In this webinar we will be taking a deep dive in to the campaign builder, looking at the different triggers and conditions, whilst providing examples of how these can be implemented for success.

You’ll leave this webinar with a clear understanding of how you can build and send your own campaigns, that generate value for your office.

Q&A

I have different suburbs and if I wanted to just tailor to a particular suburb I would create the email and then go into campaign and just select the attribute pertaining to that suburb? Correct?

Yes, you would create the email using the relevant property panel with the settings that match the suburb you are promoting. In the campaign builder you would select the ‘If Attribute’ Condition and select the relevant ‘City'(which is suburb), postcode, street address etc.

Are there notes that you can print with step by step path on this topic?

There aren’t notes, however we have a number of articles that have been written to assist you, in our Knowledge Base.

Create a Campaign: https://support.activepipe.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000861816-Create-a-Campaign

Triggers: https://support.activepipe.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000927976-Campaign-Modules-Triggers

Conditions: https://support.activepipe.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000928016-Campaign-Modules-Conditions

How do I send an email if I have an email address, but it is not in the CRM?

As your account is CRM integrated, you will need to add that particular contact into your CRM, whereby it will sync with ActivePipe thus allowing you to send an email to them.

Level Up Your Email Marketing

There’s never been a better time to take your email marketing to the next level!

We’ll show you how you can quickly and easily create your own “best in class” email marketing campaigns.

You will walk away knowing how you can build engaging, content-rich emails and provide a powerful source of value to your business, by cutting through to your target audience.

Q&A

You can add emails by navigating to the emails page through the selection menu on the left side of your screen. Click create new email, select a template and edit your email accordingly. For more help please visit; https://support.activepipe.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000861796-Create-an-Email

We’re currently in the process of writing a Support Hub article about this, in the meantime please contact support@activepipe.com and they’ll assist you in getting your links.

Your landing page is already set up and is connected to the relevant appraisal button link. To get this link please contact support@activepipe.com.

If I have just one client at the moment that I want to send an email right now, can I do that?

Can you repeat a campaign for longer than a quarter?

A quarter is currently the longest period we have available and can be saved as a campaign to repeat automatically based on the time and date set by you.

Do we have to change contents every week?

ActivePipe wants to provide you with the flexibility of choosing your own content based on your customer base and not share any content automatically in a random fashion.

The best practice would be to setup the template and have a campaign running on a weekly basis and if the campaign is going out on Thursday, set yourself a reminder to update the content on Tuesday.

For more information please visit; https://support.activepipe.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001265596-Send-an-email-to-a-single-contact

How do you auto-fill the agents’ photograph like a placeholder?? And is there a list of all of the active pipe links?

If you click on the photo placed on the introduction panel, it would take you to a window, where you get to select a template, called “Sender’s photo”, this would enable the sender’s photo to be automatically filled into the template, based on the senders added to the campaign.

By default, the senders’ photos are automatically filled into the introduction template.

Regarding the ActivePipe links, please contact support@activepipe.com and they’ll assist you in getting your link.

Is there a weekly template….that could be generated weekly that has already content built from the Blogs etc.. so this gets sent automatically?

ActivePipe wants to provide you with the flexibility of choosing your own content based on your customer base and not share any content automatically in a random fashion.

The best practice would be to setup the template (which you can create using the create new email button in the emails section) and have a campaign running on a weekly basis and if the campaign is going out on Thursday, set yourself a reminder to update the content on Tuesday.

Deliver Value with Email Marketing

You’ll leave this webinar with a clear strategy on how, as an account admin, you can use email marketing to be a powerful source of value for your business.

In this webinar we will discuss best practices and tips ActivePipe admin users can implement to send email marketing campaigns on behalf of their office, that cut through and provide your clients real value.

We will take you into ActivePipe platform to not only show you how to build your own best in class email marketing campaigns, but we’ll also show you a couple of our latest product features that we’re just releasing now!

Q&A

Can we create a template in the admin account and then share it to the individual salespersons account so it appears in their email templates?

How can I add a client that is not currently in the CRM feed?

  • You will need to add the particular contact into your CRM, they’ll then sync over into ActivePipe.

Will you have this session available to view somewhere ?

  • Yes, all of our webinars are recorded and shared with registrants as well as posted to our webinars page.

Is there a feature to see bounced back emails?

Under media – for adding video,  other than adding a YouTube video is there options to add other third party videos such as add inspect real estate?

  • We currently only integrate with both YouTube and Vimeo, so it’s best to host your videos on either of those platforms. If you’re using another third party video hosting service that isn’t supported, adding an image with a link to the video is a good alternative option.

Can we automate campaigns with articles, so that different articles appear each send?

  • You can automate campaigns that include articles, however the articles are not dynamic and will need to be updated before each send.

Streamline Your Private Inspections

Public open homes may or may not be restricted where you’re based, either way, the numbers at open homes will be down (or non-existent). Private inspections will remain a critical tool for every agent.

In this webinar we’ll be joined by Courtney Hill from InspectRealEstate (IRE), we’ll show you how you can use our new feature to start booking more private inspections directly from your ActivePipe emails!

Together with our integration partners IRE, we’ll walk you through the new private inspection booking feature in your account and take you through the experience from your customer’s perspective.

To set up an account with IRE, simply click the button below to get in touch with their team!

Sign Up Now

Q&A

Can you link in a request inspection button for off market properties?

  • Yes you can, if there is not yet a page ready on IRE the contact will be redirected to a relevant page.

How do we have access to Activepipe?

  • If you are an IRE user without an ActivePipe account, you will need to set up an ActivePipe account to utilise this integration. Get in touch with success@activepipe.com to find out how.

Do we need an IRE account to view inspection bookings?

  • You need an IRE account to direct your contacts to the IRE booking page. If you insert the Private Inspections link into your email and you don’t have an IRE account the contact will land on the default ActivePipe bookings page, any inspections booked via ActivePipe will be emailed to the agent and be visible in the ActivePipe dashboard.

How do we connect ActivePipe to IRE?

When will the ‘request an inspection’ integration be available?

  • The ‘Request an Inspection’ feature is live now!

Can you add these features to an existing template?

  • Yes, you can add the ‘Request an Inspection’ link into an existing email.

Are sms applicable to NZ?

  • Yes, ActivePipe has an integration with IRE to pull the contact data through into your ActivePipe account. To enable this please contact success@activepipe.com

Does this work with PM and Sales?

  • Yes, this integration works for both property management and sales.

Can clients who have registered their details for an inspection be automatically fed back into other CRMs like Agent Box?

Getting Started with ActivePipe

Just starting out on ActivePipe? Haven’t had a chance to get stuck in yet?
This 30 minute session is all you need to start generating immediate value.

Learn the basics on how to use ActivePipe, starting with helping you understand your audience (size, segments, contact data). You’ll then be taken on a tour of the dashboard so you can easily find your hottest leads and the properties they’re interacting with.

The questions asked by our audience during the live webinar have been answered below!

Q&A

When a person opts out is this just marked as ‘don’t send email’ in ActivePipe?

Data populated from my CRM has a salutation section, how does this filter into the auto generated emails?

Over what period of time does someone click on properties to be highly interactive?

  • Two weeks. So if a contact has not interacted with a property for two weeks, they will drop out of the highly interactive list.

Where is the training session again please?

“Recipient” of email is obvious but what exactly is the difference from “View” Vs “Clicks” under ‘email section’?

  • ‘Views’ or ‘Opens’ simply mean that the contact has opened the email. ‘Clicks’ means that the contact has clicked on something in the email such as a property or content article. For more information visit our Knowledge Base. https://support.activepipe.com/hc/en-us

Q&A

When you say off market, do you mean show buyers the property before listing it?

  • With off-market you might list a property on your website but not on the property portals. So these are exclusive properties that can only be found by people visiting your site or when you send these listings to your contacts. Read our article on it here.

How many buyers should an agent be working with at one time?

  • On any campaign you might have 2-3 buyers that would want to make an offer or bid. But you may have 10-30 who might enquire. The ones that have enquired but not made any offline activity are the ones who will need extra service and calls over and above what you are sending them.

Lots of vendors don’t want to pay for marketing, what tools can be used to encourage them and get the fear out of the vendors?

  • You need to get photographs, you need to make sure the property is positioned correctly on your website, and you need to have the tools available. So you can then go on to upsell the marketing with large, medium and small options.

What’s the best way to encourage the buyer to proceed without seeing the property when a tenant refuses access?

  • If the buyer wants to touch and feel the property, there’s not much you can do, so you will have to wait until an appropriate time. However, the tenant may be open to live streaming a walk through of the property.

Active Pipe question – can we see if someone forwards our emails?

  • We are working on expanding this functionality, however at the moment the only way to get an indication of this is the number of opens for a specific person.

As I have not really used ActivePipe actively, are you able to do some sessions on the very basics please?

  • Yes, we have a webinar on this topic next week on Wednesday at 11am. Register here.

Can we get some help creating templates?

How to Master Email Marketing

If there was ever a time to take your email marketing to the next level, this is it!

In this webinar our product experts Craig Whitfield and Sheree Davies, discuss best practices and tips ActivePipe users can implement to send email marketing campaigns that cut through and provide your clients real value.

Craig offers some guidance on how email marketing can be a powerful source of value for your business. Sheree will then take you into ActivePipe and show you how to build your own best in class email marketing campaigns.

The questions asked by our audience during the live webinar have been answered below!

Q&A

Can I schedule this to send on a different time to our normal weekly ActivePipe emails?

How do I send this as a recurring email? Do you edit the email or go through the campaigns list and edit it that way?

  • You can do it either way! If you’re entering via Campaigns, in the “Send Email” module, just click the Edit button next to your selected email.

Can you define your own listings?

  • Yes you can filter down to just an agent’s listings for a particular panel, find more information on this here.

How do we add our brand blog content or content from other websites?

Where can I change the CSS?

  • The templates in your ActivePipe account are based upon your branding and any supplied style guides, including your fonts, logos and colour palettes. As the email builder uses a very simple drag and drop editor we don’t expose the CSS or HTML. More information on this can be found here.

Can we insert a survey into an active pipe mailout?

  • You can link to a third party survey via a hyperlink or button – see this article for more info.

How do I connect my account to our YouTube channel?

  • If you have a YouTube channel, this can be integrated with your account through your account Settings menu. Within the Profile tab, there is a Links section where you can type in the address of your YouTube channel, and then save changes to connect this to your account. Once connected, every time you click “Choose Video” it will automatically bring up the clips from your channel.

Do you have any suggestions on the number of articles or length of a newsletter?

  • Generally, we recommend keeping your emails concise, highlighting a few high quality articles or properties, rather than every single one. As a basic rule of thumb, if your email is getting clipped – it’s too long!

If I use content from a smartfeed are there restrictions on how I use it?

  • Content from third party blogs will require you to link back to the article on their website. Content from the Connect Your Community stream is owned by ActivePipe, which you are free to use as you please!

Can you edit the name of the email?

  • Yes – the name of the email is editable once you are in the email editor – right up the top.
Notably, this is just an internal reference, as opposed to the Subject (also editable in the email editor, beneath the email name) which is what your contacts will see in their inbox.

How often are the articles updated?

  • New articles are added weekly!

For Australian content, is it state based or Australia wide?

  • The content is predominantly Australia wide, however there will be occasional state-based articles.

Where do we find the NZ articles in the Smartfeed?

  • The Real Estate Voice has a feed with articles specific to NZ which is available in your smart feed under ‘Office Content’. Most content in the other streams will be relevant to both Australia and New Zealand.

Are there any notes that can be accessed as a guide of what you are telling us?

  • Sure, we have a Knowledge Centre which has guides on how to do this and many other tasks you might want to do. You can find it here: https://support.activepipe.com/

How to Master Your Database

With social distancing in place, now’s the time to master your database and build long-lasting relationships.

Hosting this webinar is Craig Whitfield, he’s been with the ActivePipe team since the very beginning and over the years has helped thousands of agents unlock incredible value from their database.

In this webinar Craig will walk you through the basics of how to use ActivePipe to streamline your prospecting & nurturing. He has a wealth of experience in the real estate industry and a toolbox full of powerful tips and tricks.

The questions asked by our audience during the live webinar have been answered below!

We have My Desktop CRM. Can we send an email through AP to all our clients, or only the ones who have come into AP?

  • Yes, you can send an email to all your clients with ActivePipe. Get in touch with success@activepipe.com if you would like some help setting this up.

Is there a processes manual for Activepipe we can access?

  • Our Knowledge Centre is filled with guides to help you. If there’s anything you can’t find in there, you can get in touch with success@activepipe.com.

How do we send an email of existing properties to buyers?

We have a new agent in our team – how do we create an ActivePipe account for him?

  • New agent accounts are currently set up by ActivePipe support, if you have new agents coming on board, or any agents moving on, please email support@activepipe.com and they’ll take care of it for you. This functionality will be given to admins, in an upcoming product update.

Are we able to set the INTENTS?

  • In short, no. The intent panel is aligned with the data discovery survey we send out and the way we map people’s behaviour which is in line with general real estate interests.

With regards to appraisal requests does this get emailed to you if someone asked for one?

  • Yes, appraisal requests will be emailed to you and you can find them on your dashboard as well.

How do we sub classify groups i.e developers, investors?

  • We integrate with your CRM, so if you have contacts classified that way in your CRM, then you can send to those audiences in ActivePipe.

How do we get Open Inspections invites to still generate weekly while we are restricted with not being allowed to promote set OFI times?

  • You can re-write the OFI reminder email and populate it with properties where there is an open for inspection time. The OFI email has been paused as a protective measure but you can turn it back on, simply get in touch with success@activepipe.com.

Does ActivePipe update our CRM or do we need to do that from the info AP gives us?

  • We do push back data to several CRMs, however not every CRM allows us to do this. In these cases it will have to be done manually.

Please walk us through loading a video?

Could we have some training on sending out our own newsletters etc using your templates in ActivePipe ?

Due to covid-19 we are in lockdown. Any templates to be sent to the audience to see if they are interested to have a virtual appraisal?

  • We don’t have templates for this, but you can create this email yourself and send it to your audience. Check out our webinar for best practices on how to do this.

Is there a way to attach a document to an email?

  • Attaching documents doesn’t work well with marketing automation. The best way to send documents is to host it on your website and link to it.

Can you please clarify GEO updates, is that do to with a suburb they wish to live in?
