This month, we pulled back the curtain to celebrate just a few of the people behind the platform.
Ali Vaez, Managing Director of ANZ
Did you know our Managing Director of ANZ was once a professional wrestler?
Ali spent over a decade in the ring, appearing in more than 400 TV episodes before moving into tech. He also trained at West Point, where he learned the discipline and leadership skills he brings to MoxiWorks today.
For the past 4 years, Ali has enjoyed building cross-functional teams, celebrating customer wins, and helping customers stay ahead of the game.
Jones Xavier, Account Executive
By night, Jones is a working musician who performs 150–200 jazz gigs a year across clubs, weddings, and festivals. By day, he’s an AE helping mortgage brokers and real estate agents drive more revenue. He’s been with MoxiWorks for 4 years and loves supporting clients to hit their goals.
Jones moved to Australia at 28, starting from scratch in a new country. His journey is proof that with hard work and resilience, anything is possible.
Ana Povoa, Engineering Manager
Ana is an Engineering Manager leading cross-functional teams across APAC. She’s been with MoxiWorks for over 4 years — and was the very first Business Analyst at ActivePipe, helping shape the processes our teams still use today.
At 34, she moved overseas, learned a new language, and rebuilt her career from the ground up – now leading a team of nine engineers across countries. And outside of work? She played soccer in Australia for the Moonee Ponds Women’s Over-30s team.
Shane Herft, Senior Account Executive
Shane is a Senior Account Executive in our ANZ team and joined MoxiWorks in July 2022. He loves connecting with prospects and helping businesses achieve real results through our solutions.
After spending time in sales leadership, he has returned to direct sales to focus on growing MoxiWorks’ presence in New Zealand. Outside of work, he’s a passionate home cook who enjoys creating great food for friends and family.
